ISO 11135-1 - Sterilization of Health Care Products - Ethylene Oxide

SGS provides training on medical devices sterilization on the ethylene oxide standard ISO 11135-1. This standard is of importance due to the mandatory requirements of the latest version in Europe since May 2010.

Sterilization by ethylene oxide (ETO) is based on ISO 11135 -1:2007 Sterilization of Health Care Products (Ethylene oxide - Part 1) and includes the requirements for development, validation and routine control of a sterilization process for medical devices.

SGS offers practical and up to date training in the area of sterilization as public training or tailored in-house training worldwide. We can help with initial certification, regulatory approval, and also checks on compliance by performing an SGS gap analysis audit.
