ISO/TS 16949 - Transition Course - Quality Management System for Automotive Products

This training is designed to help transfer your existing auditing skills from other management systems to those needed for audits of quality management systems (QMS) for the automotive industry. If you have already completed an ISO 9000 or ISO 14001 training you can use the ISO/TS 16949 Transition Course to broaden your skills and knowledge base to understand and audit to QMS criteria. The principles of ISO/TS 16949 set out an explicit management system so that you can examine and control an organization’s QMS risks, vulnerabilities and actions needed for continual improvement in the automotive sector.

On training completion you will be able to:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the purpose of a QMS and the ISO/TS 16949:2009 audit and certification process
  • Interpret all clauses of ISO/TS 16949:2009
  • Employ the principles, processes and techniques needed to conduct third party audits against the requirements of the ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management Systems
  • Support your claim as part of the overall requirements for registration as Registered Lead Auditor
