ISO/TS 16949 - Awareness Training - Quality Management Systems for Automotive Industry

This training helps you develop an understanding of the ISO/TS 16949:2009 requirements and the related certification scheme. The training will provide participants with detailed guidelines for how to interpret the standard. This standard brings together the quality management principles of ISO 9001 with aspects of various regional and national automotive standards such as AVSQ (Italy), EAQF (France), VDA6 (Germany) and QS-9000 (USA).

We also outline the historical development of the ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). The IATF represents the world’s leading automotive manufacturers and their respective trade associations.

The training is an introduction for anyone involved in the development, implementation and management of a QMS based on ISO/TS 16949. If you plan to complete other QMS training, such as the Internal Auditor Training and the Lead Auditor Training, you will receive during this course the knowledge and understanding of ISO TS 16949 upon which to build auditing skills.

The training comprises lecture and workshop exercises.
