Pre-Shipment Inspection - Mauritania

Mauritania’s Ministry of Finance uses pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to protect customs revenues and confirm the eligibility of goods.

At SGS we conduct a comprehensive inspection of the goods, invoices and other documentation to enable the proper identification of goods prior to shipment with regard to quality, quantity, tariff classification, import eligibility and a valuation for customs purposes. We also train local staff on the methodology employed in PSIs.

Ensure your products meet the Mauritanian PSI requirements with our expert inspection services. With in excess of 40 years experience we are a world leader in pre-shipment services. More than 40 countries have adopted our programs to protect government finances and/or facilitate trade. Employ us to speed up the flow of information to customs, ensure documentary security and reduce delays in the importation process.

Modern pre-shipment inspection, through the use of innovative approaches and tools such as security labels and the electronic transmission of results can achieve even higher cost-effectiveness and offer greater benefits than ever before. Find out more about how pre-shipment inspection services from SGS can deliver benefits for you.
