The US Customs and Border Protection introduced the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) voluntary supply chain security program in 2001. The program, which now has over 9000 partner companies, focuses on improving the security of company’s supply chains. A comprehensive, independent security analysis at each stage of your supply chain ensures C-TPAT compliance.
SGS provides a Supply Chain Security Audit Tool that is based on C-TPAT Requirements for Security. Our thorough and knowledgeable auditors assess your organization’s security processes, identify corrective actions and establish improvement plans to address areas of concern. We continuously monitor your compliance with C-TPAT through periodic auditing.
