Amino acids (e.g. L-Lysine HCI, L-Threonine, L-Tryptophan) play an increasingly important role in the creation of animal feed. To ensure you match the appropriate regulatory requirements for the level of amino acids in your feed, SGS can perform amino acids testing on your behalf.

Our amino acids analysis uses the liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC MSMS) method, a highly sensitive and specific technique that delivers extremely accurate results. LC MSMS also saves time, since we do not always have to resolve the individual analyses using chromatography. In addition, we can compare the content of amino acids between products or processing steps, and supply nutritional information for you to share with your customers and comply with your labeling requirements.
