The SGS has full chemical, rheological, and petrographic capabilities. Carbonisation tests are performed using our sole heated, pressure test, and movable wall ovens to evaluate current and prospective coal blends to insure optimum coke quality and safe oven operation. Through our network of laboratories in the steel producing regions and along the nation’s inland waterways, we can provide sampling and analysis services for met coal and coke shipments.
