Geostatistical modeling is the practice of creating rigorous statistical models of insitu resource using geology and geostatistics. Geostatstical modeling can be used to create high-level production forecasting program required for the coal preparation plant. Geostatistical modeling weights each sample in your database using deposit-specific parameters and then generates a spatial model. This approach uses the same block structure as your resource model, and can assign an uncertainty to a circuit design or forecast. Applying geostatistical modeling to your production optimization can result in a more rigorous and reliable production forecast.
