Electronic Data Capture (EDC)

With over 7 years of EDC experience, SGS has worked with more than 15,000 EDC patients in over 30 clinical trials.

SGS works closely with several EDC companies, supporting web-based applications. Most recently, SGS has formalized a strategic partnership with Phase Forward for use of their InForm™ EDC solution. As of January 2008, SGS has the capability to setup its own EDC applications for Phase I to post marketing trials. This agreement allows SGS to offer the EDC system as an integral part of its own solution set.

SGS was able to reduce the average time from Last Patient Last Visit to Database Lock to 2-4 weeks EDC Office:

• Creation of Validation documents for EDC
• Performing User Acceptance Testing
• Own InForm™ trainers at SGS
• User Management for InForm™ trials
