Sun Chung Property Management

Sun Chung Property Management was founded in 1982, and its first project was to provide construction supervision and preliminary project management services to the Bank of China Tower. Since the completion of the building in 1989, Sun Chung has continued to provide professional property management services and was recognized as one of the world renowned brands. The experience led to the formation of a unique property management team. In 2000, Sun Chung became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bank of China Group Investment Limited. Property management has become a strategic business unit of the group, lending protection and support to Sun Chung’s business development.

Sun Chung demonstrated its commitment to hygiene services by attaining the Hygiene Control Management Systems certification from SGS Hong Kong Limited in September 2007. The scope of certification follows the guidelines from the Department of Health on matters that concerning health and disease, impelling staffs maintain good personal hygiene, strengthening staffs’ ability to deal with hygiene accidents and risk, creating a healthy working condition, striving to pursue zero health disaster and accident and providing best building environment for its customers. This outstanding achievement was made by the team’s dedication to offering high standard hygiene services, which allows them to identify and respond to their customers’ needs. This new inspection method can be applied for critical pipe work, risers under clamps, insulated or even buried pipes in operation, enabling Chevron to check the condition of the risers without removing the clamps and schedule shutdown for repairs.

SGS experts were asked to provide independent inspection and project supervision of a CHF 30.6 million project that involved the expansion of a 540 MW captive power plant (4x135MW) and related facilities for Bharat Aluminum Co Ltd (Balco) located in the Korba district, Chhattisgarh State, India.
09/11/09 Industrial Supervision of Retrofitting Works for the La Rovira Tunnel in Barcelona, Spain
At the beginning of 2007, the local infrastructure authority of Barcelona, Barcelona d’Infraestructures Municipals (BIMSA), decided to invest over EUR 2 Million for the retrofitting of the installations in the La Rovira Tunnel. The six-month long project focused on upgrading the signalization and accident detection systems of the 1.3 km long, double lane tunnel.
